Adebara released the three inmates after reviewing the case files of inmates at the Custodial Centres during a routine visit to the facilities.

The Chief Judge noted that the Custodial Centres in the state are overcrowded, adding that it falls within his constitutional rights to perform jail delivery which allows him to look into cases that have stayed long in court, inmates with terminal illness and minor offences which community service can address.

He promised to make visitation to the Custodial Centres for jail delivery a continuous exercise.

The CJ admonished the released inmates to shun crime, thanking the authority of the Correctional Service for their support in providing enabling environment during and after the exercise.
