Leadership Centre Honours Imam Onike, NASFAT Chief

Chief missioner of NASFAT, Imam Abdul-Azeez Onike, will be conferred a Distinguished Honoree Award at the 71st colloquium of the centre in Lagos. The centre notified the honoree of this award through its letter dated September 1, 2025, sent to him.

The event, expected to showcase the honouree’s achievements, will take place on 30 October 2025 at the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), Victoria Island, Lagos.

Imam Onike was selected for this honour because of his years of service as a selfless religious leader and a key contributor to nation-building and peaceful co-existence in Nigeria.

Past recipients of this award include Mr Akintola Williams, Dr Christopher Kolade, Chief Emeka Anyaoku, Professor Grace Alele Williams, Cardinal John Onaiyekan, Chief Earnest Shonekan, Chief Wole Olanipekun, among other highly respected Nigerians.

The award celebrates Nigerians who have used their careers and professional fields as tools for impacting humanity and contributing to national development.
