President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Yakubu Maikyau (SAN), has called on lawyers to provide leadership to recover Nigeria’s lost glory.

Maikayau said the situation in the country calls for lawyers to thoroughly examine the challenges facing the country and to overcome it.

While unveiling the 2023 NBA Annual General Conference Logo and launch of the conference website for registration in Abuja, with the Theme, “Getting it Right, Charting the course For Nigeria’s Nation Building,” he said lawyers will provide leadership direction to the country’s challenges.

Maikyau wondered why Nigerian professionals excelled outside the shores of the nation but are faced with many challenges when in the country.

On her part, the conference alternate chairperson, Oyinkan Badejo-Okosanya urged lawyers to take advantage of the website provided and register on time for the conference.
