A non- governmental organisation (NGO), Muniratu Amope Grace Foundation (MAG-F) has been unveiled in Osogbo, Osun state with a mandate to add values to no fewer than 15,000 vulnerable residents in the year 2023.
At its inauguration in Osogbo, the founder, Mrs. Sanni Olajumoke Grace identified women, girls, youths empowerment, administration of scholarships and grants to students and schools, implementation of healthcare interventions in communities and support for the marginalised individuals as its primary focus.
Sanni saidt her desire to put a smile on the faces of the less privileged ones in the society and her passion for humanitarian service informed the formation of the group.
“Our programme design will incorporate physical and virtual interventions and will adopt a bottom-top approach hinged on appropriate need-driven orientation.
“We also aim to create need-based solutions to challenges of indigent individuals and underserved communities to positively impact lives and foster sustainable development.
“The foundation is being put in place to undertake projects on social – economic well- being, policy, and environmental impacts across Nigeria. It is also formed to effectively contribute towards achieving the sustainable development goals (SDGs),’’ she said.
Also, the representative of Daytal Consult, Dr. Oluwatoyin Aladejana, said, the founding of MAG foundation was not for the owner to amass wealth but to invest in the less privileged ones and lift them out of poverty and impact positively on their welfare.
