Key highlight of the presentation was the commitment to extend rehabilitation efforts for feeder roads across various zones in the state.

This initiative aligns with the governor’s vision to improve infrastructure, enhance connectivity, and promote economic growth through better transportation networks.

According to Governor Makinde, the proposal also signifies the administration’s dedication to ensuring that all areas within the state are adequately served and that rural communities could benefit from accessible road networks.

The proposed budget encompasses various sectors, focusing not only on infrastructure but also on health, education, and business development.

The governor expressed his belief that these investments were crucial for sustaining the growth trajectory of Oyo State and ensuring that the state remains a conducive environment for both residents and investors.

He added that the projected allocation not only reflects the aspirations of the current administration but also sets a precedent for future governance in the state.

Makinde’s budget estimate for 2025 represents a crucial moment for Oyo State, underscoring the administration’s commitment to sustainable development and economic stability.

As deliberations within the Assembly commence, stakeholders are hopeful that the budget would further propel Oyo State towards achieving its developmental goals.
