In a statement issued yesterday by SP Dungus Abdulkarim, the police public relations officer, he said the suspect reportedly used a neem stick to attack the health worker after a dispute over medical attention.

According to the statement, following a distress call from hospital security personnel, ‘C’ Divisional police personnel swiftly mobilised and arrested the perpetrator.

However, court proceedings have commenced, and the suspect will face the consequences of their actions.

Commissioner of Police, CP Emmanuel Ado, PSC, FDC, strongly condemns such acts of violence and warns against taking the law into one’s own hands.
