Residents of Lawa community woke up to see the dangling body of Reginald on Sunday in the premises of his wife’s alleged lover, Ukachukwu.

Village sources said Reginald’s body was discovered on a tree within Ukachukwu’s compound on Sunday, a development that has sparked condemnation and anger.

A villager who pleaded anonymity said the deceased severally complained about the amorous relationship between his wife and Ukachukwu, but was rebuffed by his wife.

The man narrated, “We woke up this morning to see the dangling body of Reginald in the compound of Ukachukwu. We had seen him complain about his wife and Ukachukwu but nobody knew it would drive him to commit suicide. He has the entire community in confusion because we have not witnessed anything like this in the past”, the source said.
