Kylian Mbappe wants to head to Euro 2024 with “peace of mind” as he claimed there are no talks at PSG related to his possible summer transfer.
The mercurial France and Paris Saint-Germain attacker claimed that his possible transfer to Real Madrid in the summer will in no way impact his mindset as he vowed to head to Euro 2024 with “peace of mind”. On Saturday, France went down 2-0 against Germany in an international friendly clash.
In an interview with Telefoot, Mbappe said: “People will know [my situation]. I’ll arrive at the Euros with peace of mind. I’m already calm. It’s not even a topic at the club (PSG) any more, no one talks to me about it. There are no worries there. I’ll go to the Euros with peace of mind and with the certainty of doing great things.”
The 25-year-old’s move to Los Blancos is all but done after the player verbally agreed with the club to join them in the summer, after his contract at PSG expires. While there has been no formal announcement from any of the parties, it was reported last month that the winger has informed his PSG colleagues and coaching staff about his departure and has also communicated it to club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
