Mojec International Limited and its renewable energy subsidiary, V-Solaris, are currently expanding their energy solutions portfolio which focuses on renewable energy projects, including solar power systems and mini-grids designed to provide electricity to underserved and off-grid communities.

Through its V-Solaris, MOJEC reiterates its commitment to delivering solar solutions, developing mini-grids, and supporting embedded power systems that improve energy reliability for residential estates and industries.

Speaking when the Minister of State for Industry, Trade and Investment, John Enoh, visited MOJEC/V-Solaris exhibition stand at the recent West Africa Industrialisation, Manufacturing and Trade Summit and Exhibition 2026 held in Lagos, the Group Managing Director of MOJEC International, Chantelle Abdul, highlighted the company’s longstanding contributions to Nigeria’s power sector through local manufacturing, smart metering innovation, and renewable energy development.

According to Abdul, MOJEC International is one of Nigeria’s leading manufacturers of smart prepaid electricity meters and a provider of power generation and energy management services.

She noted that the company has supplied millions of electricity meters to distribution companies nationwide, helping to significantly reduce the challenge of estimated billing across the country.

“MOJEC develops smart meters and advanced metering infrastructure that enable remote monitoring of electricity usage, accurate billing, and better power management,” she said.

Highlighting the company’s scale of impact, she disclosed that MOJEC has deployed nearly four million meters across Nigeria since the privatisation of the electricity sector, working with most electricity distribution companies in the country.

According to her, in 2024 alone, the company deployed over 300,000 meters, with more than 240,000 already installed.

She added that Mojec’s contributions to the energy industry have also earned the company several recognitions, including the ECOWAS International Gold Award for its impact on the West African energy sector, as well as recognition on the London Stock Exchange platform as one of the companies inspiring Africa.

The Minister praised the company’s innovation, professionalism, and commitment to improving energy access.

“I would like to sincerely commend the outstanding and consistent efforts of MOJEC International Limited and its renewable energy subsidiary, V-Solaris.

“The organisations have demonstrated remarkable dedication and professionalism in advancing smart metering solutions and renewable energy development across Nigeria,” the Minister said.

He noted that MOJEC’s work in improving electricity distribution, reducing estimated billing, and deploying renewable energy solutions reflects a strong commitment to innovation and sustainable development in the power sector.

“Through the deployment of solar systems and implementation of mini-grid projects, MOJEC and V-Solaris continue to make meaningful contributions towards sustainable energy access and improved energy management,” he added.

The minister described the companies’ achievements as a clear reflection of vision, integrity, and determination to strengthen Nigeria’s energy infrastructure.

“This unrelenting commitment to excellence is highly commendable. The progress achieved so far clearly reflects the organisations’ determination to support Nigeria’s energy development. Please keep up the excellent work,” he said.
