Eight-month-old Favor Ereniyi is urgently in need of N7million aid for chest infection surgery.

Favor was born with a hole in the heart.

Baby Favor Ereniyi was diagnosed with the heart condition about three months after her birth on August 6, 2022.

The mother, a seamstress, lamented, “We discovered that her breathing was fast. We took her to the General Hospital Isolo where she was treated for a month before we were referred to Massey Street Children’s Hospital in Victoria Island at Paediatric Cardiology Unit, three months ago.”

The medical report also revealed that she was referred to Babcook University Teaching Hospital for heart surgery.

The mother said, “when they directed us to run the test, the result showed she had a hole in her heart. The doctors told us only heart surgery will erase the defects.”

The patient’s mother, Esther Ereniyi, bemoaned that she had been facing endless difficulties since she gave birth to Favor.

The surgery is expected to take place at Babcock University Teaching Hospital or at Tristate Health Care System, Lekki, Lagos.

“I’m appealing to everyone to help me. I don’t want to lose my daughter. Pls help me,” she pleaded.
