A former lawmaker who once represented Kaduna Central in the Senate, Senator Shehu Sani, has bemoaned the murder of an undergraduate, Nabeeha Al-Kadriyar, by kidnappers, even as he urged security agencies to urgently look into the deterioration of security situation within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Sani stated this while reacting to the murder of Nabeeha Al-Kadriyar, who was recently kidnapped along with her family members from their home in the Bwari Area Council of the FCT.

LEADERSHIP reports that Nabeeha Al-Kadriyar, a 400-level Biological Science student of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, was murdered on Friday, while her siblings – Najeebah (500 Level, Quantity Survey), Nadheerah (300 Level, Zoology), and three others are still being held captives by kidnappers who are demanding a ransom of N100m.

Reacting to the tragic development, Senator Shehu Sani, who took to his X handle (formerly Twitter) on Sunday, wrote: “The gruesome murder of Nabeeeha Al-kadriyar is a condemnable act of evil before our very eyes. Her death was an avoidable tragedy.
