A member of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Musa Gude, has announced the appointment of 106 aides to support his work and uplift the living standards of his constituents.
Gude, who represents Uke/Karshi Constituency under the Social Democratic Party (SDP), disclosed this in Lafia on Tuesday while speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
“I want to disclose that I have 106 aides on my payroll, including special and personal assistants. Some of them receive N100,000, N80,000, N50,000, N30,000, N20,000, and N10,000, respectively,” he said.
According to him, the appointments were not only aimed at strengthening his office but also at improving the livelihoods of the beneficiaries and their families.
He described the initiative as part of his “commitment to inclusive leadership and improving livelihoods” in his constituency.
Highlighting his other contributions, Gude noted that he had provided several boreholes and sponsored the payment of WAEC fees for many students.
“I have done my best in health, education, agriculture, infrastructure and other areas. I have also empowered many constituents to enable them to become self-reliant,” the lawmaker added.
He assured residents of continued quality representation in the state legislature while urging them to live in unity, peace, and tolerance, regardless of their differences. (NAN)
