Sony Pictures Animation has released the star-studded voice cast for the sports-comedy animation feature ‘GOAT’ scheduled to release on February 13, 2026.
The theatrical release coincides with the NBA All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles set for February 13 to 15, 2026.
An original animation feature co-directed by Tyree Dillihay and Adam Rosette, ‘GOAT’, set in the animal world tells the story of Will, a small goat with big dreams. Will’s dream is to play professional Roar Ball, a high intensity, co-ed, full contact sports, dominated by the fastest, fiercest animals of the world. When he gets a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to do so, his new teammates are not thrilled to have him onboard. However, Will is determined to prove to them that smalls can ball.
Heading the star-studded voice cast is America’s National Basketball Association (NBA) player, Stephen Curry, whose company Unanimous Media co-owned with Erick Peyton is producing the animation. Other star casts include critically acclaimed actress, Jenifer Lewis (Ruby in ‘Blackish’), NAACP-awardee, Gabrielle Union (Eva in ‘Deliver Us From Eva’), Screen Actors Guild Award winner, Caleb Mcalaughlin (Lucas Sinclair in ‘Stranger Things’), Nicola Coughlan (Penelope Featherington in ‘Bridgerton’, Claire Devlin in ‘Derry Girls’), Emmy and Tony awards nominee, David Harbour (Red Guardian in ‘Thunderbolts’) and Patton Oswald (‘The Secret Lives of Pets II’, ‘Manhunt’).
‘GOAT’ is produced by Curry and Peyton’s Unanimous – a production company whose contents focus on family, faith and sports; Michelle RAIMO Kouyate, Adam Rosenberg and Rodney Rothman of Modern Magic, and co-produced by David Schulenburg, with Rick Mischel and Fonda Snyder as executive producers.
