The board of the Nigeria National League (NNL) has praised its sponsors — BetPawa, Toptier Sports Management (TSM), Prostar International and Sportslight Hub — for their contributions towards the successful staging of the 2025/2026 league season.

The commendation was contained in a communiqué issued after the league body’s end-of-season board meeting held on Tuesday, 5 May 2026, at the auditorium of Beyond Limits FC in Ikenne, Ogun State.

In the communiqué, the NNL board highlighted the positive impact of the sponsors’ support on the growth and smooth organisation of the country’s second-tier football league.

“We want to use this opportunity to commend BetPawa for the prompt implementation of the Locker Room Bonuses during the 2025/2026 league season, as well as the introduction of end-of-season awards for outstanding performers,” the communiqué stated.

The board also applauded Toptier Sports Management (TSM) for its investment in the league, noting that the company’s involvement has helped to raise standards within the NNL.

“It is equally important that we thank Toptier Sports Management (TSM) for its laudable investment in the Nigeria National League. Their support has further raised the bar in the NNL,” the statement added.

The communiqué further acknowledged the roles played by Prostar International and Sportslight Hub in improving the quality and visibility of the league.

“We are grateful to all our sponsors and look forward to an even stronger and more cordial relationship with them during the 2026/2027 league season,” the board concluded.

Meanwhile, NNL Chairman George Aluo attributed the successes recorded during the just-concluded campaign to the backing of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President, Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau.

According to Aluo, the NFF president provided the league board with the freedom and support needed to carry out its responsibilities effectively.

“I must commend the NFF President, Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, for the support he has given us since we came on board. He never interfered with our decisions; instead, he gave the board his full backing, which enabled us to succeed,” Aluo said.

He also expressed appreciation to the league’s sponsors for their commitment and partnership throughout the season.

“Our sponsors performed excellently, and I must commend them for being true partners in progress. We look forward to an even better working relationship with them next season,” he added.
