Okada Rider, Woman Killed In Kogi Crash

Two persons died in an auto accident along Ogori – Magongo road in Kogi State on Thursday.
It was gathered that one victim died immediately while the other, a woman who was rushed to the Ogori General Hospital, later died.

The commercial motorcyclist was identified as John Aisoni while the woman was a worker at a microfinance bank in the same area.

Kogi State sector commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Oyedeji Samuel Sunday, attributed the accident to wrong overtaking.

“The accident was between a commercial motor cyclist and a Toyota Venza car. There was wrong over taking which led to this ghastly motor accident. Two persons have been confirmed dead and have since be deposited in a morgue in nearby Edo State while the other person is receiving treatment at Ogori General Hospital,” he said. He advised motorists to avoid over speeding and abide by rules of driving.
