Meanwhile, Oluseyi Magic’s dedication to the art form and his desire to give back to the community was evident throughout the conference.

His lecture set the tone of the conference for other speakers, where he spoke on the psychology of building a successful photography business.

He explained the need for photographers to separate themselves from their business and the importance of having the right mindset to take their business to the next level, stressing that “the only limitation that you can have as a creative is the limitation you put on yourself.”

Oluseyi Magic went further to discuss the three important factors needed to develop the psychology of a photographer which are knowledge, association and exposure, while disclosing that product (the photograph you shoot), branding (personality) and system are the three ingredients needed to build a successful business as a photographer.

He closed his session by discussing the importance of customer satisfaction, customer database and strategic positioning through marketing as proven strategies that guarantee success in photography business.

The conference featured other distinguished speakers and panelists including: George Okoro of George Okoro Studios, Henry Oji of Big H Studios, Felix Crown, Isaac Adewole Gold of C3 Pictures each sharing their insights and experiences.

The experts in their different presentations covered a wide range of topics, including technical skills, creative vision, research, marketing, and business strategies.

One of the attendees, Austin Tamunoibi of Tammy Clicks Studio from Cameroon stated that the event surpassed his expectations in all areas, stressing that he can’t wait to start implementing all that he had learnt.
