Police Arrest 3, Recover 150 ‘Skuchies’ Bottles

Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command on Tuesday said they have arrested three suspects conveying 150 bottles of ‘skuchies’ , a cocktail of drugs, including cannabis sativa, tramadol tablets, codeine, swifnol, among others.

The trio identified as Francis Friday, Kemi Adeyemo and NonsoOrji – were arrested while conveying 150 bottles of ‘skuchies’ in a Suzuki minibus at Igbo Agowa, Ikorodu.

The command’s public relations officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, who disclosed this in a tweet on Tuesday, saying suspicion and subsequent searches led to their arrests.

Advising Nigerians to avoid drugs, Hundeyin revealed that investigation was ongoing in the case.

He tweeted, “It started with reasonable suspicion, then search. Francis Friday ‘m’ aged 30; Kemi Adeyemo ‘f’ aged 35 years; and Nonso Orji ‘m’ aged 22, were arrested while conveying 150 bottles of skuchies in a Suzuki minibus at Igbo Agowa, Ikorodu.
