Student Loan: NELFund Disburses To 40 Additional Institutions

Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFund) has successfully disbursed loans to students from forty (40) additional institutions, bringing the total of benefiting institutions to fifty-nine (59).

NELFund made the disclosure on the additional disbursement of student loan in a statement posted on its X platform on Friday.

The Fund said the expansion marked a significant milestone in its commitment to providing access to quality education for all Nigerian students, regardless of their financial circumstances.

Managing Director of NELFund, Mr. Akintunde Sawyerr, had explained that the initiative has been empowered to ensure that no eligible student is marginalised from accessing student loan all over the country.

He also stressed the importance of institutions to actively participate in the loan scheme by submitting students’ data promptly and accurately, to ensure seamless disbursements of loans.
