Nigeria continued its dominance of handball in Africa winning both men and women handball event gold medals at the Package B of Moshood Abiola National Stadium Abuja.

The country’s military men team defeated their West African rival Ghana 28-18 in the final to clinch the gold and confirmed their superior power in the game.

The achievement was a significant accomplishment for Nigeria, especially against a strong competitor like Ghana. It reflects the hard work and dedication of Nigeria’s Military team.

Recall that Nigeria’s Under 18 men’s handball team are current champions of the International Handball Federation’s (IHF) Trophy Africa Men Continental Championship.
