Tinubu’s Administration Promotes, Protects Rights Of Nigerians – AGF

The Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation (AGF), Mr Lateef Fagbemi SAN, has said that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government believes in promoting and protecting Nigerians’ human rights.
He stated this during the commissioning of the edifice of the National Human Rights Commission NHRC in Birnin Kebbi.

According to the minister, the commissioning of the NHRC office in Kebbi State will further entrench the commission’s operational independence.

He noted that the federal government will support the commission in its efforts to own its offices nationwide, further entrench its independence, and strengthen its efforts to protect the rights of citizens of the country.

Chairmanperson and governing council of the Commission, Dr Salamatu Suleiman, disclosed that the NHRC has embarked on constructing and completing nine new offices with the support of the budget office of the federation and national assembly from 2019.

He called on Nigerians to continue to support the Present administration under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu towards greater heights.
