UNIOSUN Gets New Registrar, Bursar, Librarian

The Governing Council of the Osun State University has announced the appointment of Mrs Atinuke Oguntunde as the institution’s third substantive registrar.

The board also appointed Mr Muideen Lasisi as the third substantive Bursar while Dr Olugbenga Adewuyi emerged the third substantive university Librarian.

A statement issued on Friday by the university’s public relations’ officer, Ademola Adesoji, disclosed that the appointments were approved by the Governing Council at its special meeting on Friday.

The release stated that the appointments were announced following the completion of the selection processes and the recommendations of the selection panel in each case.

Adesoji noted that Mrs Atinuke Oguntunde, the newly appointed Registrar who hails from Ilesa will bring her wealth of experience and expertise to bear after previously serving as the Deputy Registrar and College Secretary at the University’s College of Health Sciences.

“Mr Muideen Lasisi from Ido Osun was until his appointment a Deputy Bursar at the National Open University of Nigeria. With a career spanning over two decades in finance and accounting”.

“Dr Olugbenga Adewuyi, a native of Ila Orangun, the newly appointed University Librarian is renowned for his scholarly contributions and commitment to advancing library sciences and administration”.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Clement Adebooye, while congratulating the newly appointed officers, stated that the appointments mark a significant milestone in the institution’s journey towards academic excellence and institutional advancement.
