Kogi State governor Yahaya Bello has been presented with the prestigious Award of Excellence, recognising him as the best performing governor in the North Central geopolitical zone.
The chief executive officer of Social Plus Africa Communications Ltd, Ambassador James Momoh, presented the award to Bello, lauding his exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment to the advancement of Kogi State.
The recognition bestowed upon Bello stems from his transformative governance style, which has yielded remarkable positive changes across various sectors within the state.
Notably, the event also marked the unveiling of a special magazine by Social Plus Africa Communications Ltd. The magazine showcases the extraordinary achievements and milestones attained during Governor Bello’s tenure. It highlights the governor’s innovative policies, infrastructure development initiatives, socioeconomic reforms, and tireless endeavours to enhance the well-being of the people of Kogi State.
Bello expressed gratitude to the visiting team and acknowledged that this award is a testament to the collective efforts of his administration and the people of Kogi State.
Under his leadership, he said Kogi State has witnessed substantial growth in its infrastructure, particularly in the areas of road construction, healthcare facilities, education, and agriculture. He said the administration’s forward-thinking policies and socioeconomic reforms have attracted both local and international investments, fostering economic expansion and generating employment opportunities within the state.
