JUST-IN: Tinubu Meets Abbas, Kalu

President Bola Tinubu is currently meeting with Hon. Tajudeen Abbas and Benjamin Kalu at the State House, Abuja.

Recall that Abbas and Kalu have received the endorsement of the All Progressive Congress (APC) for the positions of Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the 10th House of Representatives, respectively.

However, it is important to note that their nominations have faced stiff opposition from certain members within the Lower Chamber of the Assembly.

The dissenting voices within the party have expressed their reservations regarding the selection of Abbas and Kalu as the APC’s anointed candidates for the top legislative positions in the next House of Representatives.
