NYG: Team Kaduna Dominates North West Zonal Eliminations

Team Kaduna dominates the 7th National Youth Games (NYG) North-West zonal elimination  held at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna.

The team left no one in doubt of their superiority after picking the highest number of tickets to represent the zone in team sport events.

Kaduna picked the tickets in male and female football events, male and female basketball, male and female volleyball, female handball, male and female cricket and male rugby.

Similarly, Team Kaduna picked tickets in male and female beach volleyball, male hockey and male soft ball events.

This was contained in the final results from the zonal preliminaries which was signed by the Zonal Sports Coordinator

North-West Zone Kaduna,  Mohammed Kabir Datti.

According to the final results of the eliminations held between

August  12 to 14, 2023 in Kaduna, Kano State picked tickets in male football, female volleyball,  male handball, male and female  rugby,  and male hockey events.

For Jigawa State, they picked tickets in  male and female basketball and female beach volleyball. Sokoto State picked tickets in male volleyball, male and female handball, male beach volleyball and male cricket.

Kebbi State picked tickets in female cricket, male baseball and female soft ball.
