With participating players expected from Ghana, Cote d’Ivoire, Cameroon, Togo, Senegal and hosts Nigeria, Niyi Toluwalope, managing director of eTranzact International, said the sponsor was committed to promoting golf in the continent.

“When we partnered with the PGD Tours last year, we promised that the Classic would provide a platform to promote and elevate professional and amateur golfing in Africa, while fostering business to business collaborations, and facilitating partnerships between business and government.

“This year, we are re-affirming our commitment to this noble sporting event, and all that it has to offer. We have taken our support a notch higher by introducing some exciting changes around the event. The increased prize money is also a further demonstration of our commitment to make the Classic more competitive and attract the absolute best of golfers to perform at this stage,” Toluwalope said.
