The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) attributed the accident to road demarcation and fatigue on the part of the driver.

Spokesperson of the FRSC in Ogun State, Florence Okpe, in a statement, also said one person sustained injury in the accident.

Okpe said the crash, which occurred at 5:38am involved a Mazda bus marked EDE 217 XB, and a MAN Diesel truck with registration number AJL 715 XA.

“The injured victim was taken to Hopeland Hospital, Warewa while the remains of the deceased were deposited at the morgue of Real Divine Hospital, Ibafo,” she said.
