Former Senate Majority Leader, Mohammed Ali Ndume, has praised President Bola Tinubu for naming Daniel Bwala as his special adviser on public communications and media.

Ndume who represents Borno South Senatorial District which includes Bwala’s constituency, said the appointment reflected Tinubu’s generous leadership style.

Bwala previously served as the spokesman of former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, during the 2023 presidential election campaigns. Ndume said, “Bwala’s appointment exemplifies a rare quality of generosity in leadership, one that is increasingly hard to find among many leaders today.”

He advised Bwala to seek reconciliation with Vice President Kashim Shettima, whose appointment prompted Bwala to leave the APC, remarking on the importance of collaboration. He urged Bwala to work closely with Shettima as a key partner in advancing the president’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Ndume also encouraged Bwala to observe veterans like Sunday Dare and Ononuga who are loyal supporters of Tinubu and defend his policies respectfully. He also listed Hadiza Bala and Nuhu Ribadu as examples of individuals who advocate for Tinubu’s policies with solid evidence.
