LEADERSHIP gathered that a report of the suspected defilement of the minor was lodged with the police at Bosso Division in Bosso local government area of the state.

The horrific deed was uncovered after unusual observation on the 10-year-old Hauwa, a resident of El-Waziri area of Bosso, immediately after she returned from an errand to the house of the suspect, Aliyu.

Consequently, when she was examined, bruises were observed at Hauwa’s private part, which aroused the suspicion of the mother who reported her findings to the police.

Police Public Relations Officers in the state, Wasiu Abiodun who confirmed the incident, said the minor was dragged into the room by the suspect, Bala, who then forcefully defiled her.
