The Nigerian Forest Security Service (NHFSS), in recognition of the enormous contributions of the Nigeria police to the peace and tranquility prevalent in Imo State, has presented an iconic award to the commissioner of police, CP Aboki Danjuma.
The commander of NHFSS, Imo State command, Dr Fabian Iwuoha, made the presentation on behalf of commander-general Ambassador Wole Joshua Osatimehin.
He said the award recognises tremendous services to the state and Nigeria.
The commander-general emphasised that to whom much is given, much is expected and charged the CP with continuing the onslaught against criminals in society.
He submitted that since CP Danjuma’s arrival in the state, the security architecture has improved enormously, resulting in relative calm in the state.
Ambassador Osatimehin urged the CP to continue in his quest to create a state where the security of life and property is given top priority.
He said, “We will continue to support you and play a complementary role in securing the forest so that farmers can access their farmland.
“Be rest assured, as we have put mechanisms in place to checkmate hoodlums within the farmland.”
Ambassador Osatimehin assured us that they would continue to work tirelessly in conjunction with other security agencies to make the nation habitable for all.
He commended President Bola Tinubu for his pivotal role in fixing the economy and his support in encouraging the welfare of the citizenry.
