NCDMB executive secretary, Engr. Felix Ogbe, stated this in Port Harcourt during the graduation of human capital development (HCD) trainees, which PE Energy Limited and PANA Academy organised in partnership with Chevron Nigeria Limited and NCDMB. It was held to encourage local content excellence and talent development within the oil and gas sector.

Ogbe, who was represented by the manager of Human Capital Development, Mrs. Tarilate Teide-Bribena, commended PE Energy and PANA Academy for executing the training programme.

The NCDMB boss reiterated the board’s commitment to strategic capacity-building initiatives that enhance indigenous competence, standardization, and global competitiveness.

Ogbe appreciated PE Energy for living up to the spirit of the HCD programme by providing instant employment to six out of the 46 graduands of the training programme.

In his speech, Dr. Daere Akobo, chief executive officer of PE Energy Limited, said graduates were recognized for their exceptional performance in character, competence, and commitment to the core values that shaped the training experience.

He emphasised the importance of public-private partnerships in achieving such developmental goals, acknowledging the vital roles played by Chevron Nigeria Limited and NCDMB, pointing out that their active collaboration, technical support, and alignment with national policy objectives were pivotal to the programme’s success.
