Police operatives have recovered four vehicles suspected of being stolen and abandoned in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The recovered vehicles are a Honda Civic in ash colour, registration number YAB 837 TA; a Toyota Sienna LE in ash colour, registration number ABJ 75 JR; and a Coaster Bus in orange, without a registration number.
The police spokesperson, FCT, SP Josephine Adeh, said, “Acting on credible intelligence, the operatives of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command attached to the Central Police Station, on Monday, August 11, 2025, recovered four vehicles suspected to have been stolen and abandoned.
The Commissioner of Police, Federal Capital Territory, CP Ajao Adewale, appreciates residents of the FCT for their cooperation and continued support to the Police through timely and valuable information.
“The Command calls on public members whose vehicles match the above description to visit the FCT Police Command Headquarters with proof of ownership for verification and collection.
The police also urged residents to report suspicious movements or criminal activities through the FCT Police Command’s emergency numbers: 08032003913 and 08028940883, as stated in a statement by SP Josephine Adeh, the Command’s Police Public Relations Officer.
