Former First Lady Aisha Buhari attended a traditional and cultural night in Daura as part of activities marking preparations for the upcoming Eid al-Adha celebrations.

 

She was seen dressed in attire bearing the insignia of the All Progressives Congress during the event.

 

Her son, Yusuf Buhari, disclosed this in a series of posts shared on his verified X handle on Tuesday.

Yusuf Buhari, who recently emerged as the APC candidate for the Daura/Sandamu/Mai’adua Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives primaries, shared details of the occasion.

 

In one of the posts, he wrote,

“Her Excellency graced the traditional and cultural night in Daura as part of the preparations for the upcoming Eid Al-Adha celebrations.”

 

He added that the event showcased the rich cultural heritage and traditions of the people while also serving as a gathering ahead of the Sallah festivities.
