Abia Lawmaker Congratulates Ikpeazu On Award

Chairman, Abia State House of Assembly Committee on Public Service, Erondu Uchenna-Erondu Jr has felicitated the immediate past governor of the state, Okezie Ikpeazu on his award as the Most Peaceful Politician by Etiquette Nigeria.

The presenter handed over the award to the erstwhile governor recently during its official brand launch and award night in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.

In a statement made available to LEADERSHIP Sunday in Umuahia, yesterday, his spokesperson, George Egejuru, said the award is a testament to Ikpeazu’s peaceful disposition.

The statement read in part:” This honour is a testament to your tireless efforts, governance and administrative acumen. You’ve made Abia State and Nigeria proud.

“Ikpeazu’s achievement serves as a model for Nigerians, demonstrating the importance of peace, excellence, hard work and dedication in our society.”

Describing him as an inspiration to the younger generation, it added that the honour is a reflection of his hard work and peaceful disposition.

It would be recalled that Ikpeazu, who served the state from 2015 to 2023 on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, celebrated his 60th birthday last month.
