Adamu, Wadada Rally Support For Governor Sule

A former national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Abdullahi Adamu and the senator representing Nasarawa West, Aliyu Wadada, have urged people of Nasarawa State to support Governor Abdullahi Sule to enable him develop the state.

They made the call at a book launch on in Lafia yesterday.

The book titled: “Progressive Governance” authored by Alhaji Abdullahi Tanimu, chronicled the achievements of Governor Sule since he assumed office in May 2019.

Both Adamu and Wadada affirmed that Governor Sule had performed creditably well judging by his development strides within his first tenure.

They said it would be in the interest of the state and its people that the governor should be encouraged to consolidate on the achievements recorded so far.

Adamu who is also a former governor of the state, said Governor Sule had been able to build on the successes of his predecessors and deserved the support and understanding of the critical stakeholders in the ongoing effort to further steer the state on the path of development and growth.

 

On his part, Wadada commended Governor Sule for making the state an investment and industrial hub within a space of four years.

 

He said it was to the governor’s credit that notable conglomerates-Dangote, Nigeria Flour Mills and Asma Rice among others have established presence in the state.

 

He said the development had boosted the state’s revenue generation and created employment for its teeming youths.

 

He said the governor had also been able to touch all sectors in his development strides.

 

The member representing Akwanga/Nassarawa-Eggon/Wamba Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Jeremiah Umaru, also lauded Governor Sule’s development strides.

 

He commended the governor for the construction of Farin Ruwa road in Wamba LGA which he said would ease transportation problem of the rural people in the area.

 

Governor Sule commended the author for recognising his effort toward developing the state and making it viable for investors to come.
