The Asholio Moro’a Development Association, Abuja Branch, has called for unity among the people of Kaduna South, emphasising the importance of shared values and community spirit.
Speaking at the association’s second edition of the Cultural Day celebration and 2024 Thanksgiving over the weekend in Abuja, the chairman, Mr Kaboshio Dauda, underscored the significance of fostering togetherness.
“We are not merely marking a cultural tradition—we are also recognizing the significance of what it means to be part of something greater than ourselves—a community united by shared values and a common purpose,” Dauda said.
He highlighted the deeper meaning of the event, noting that it celebrated not only the beauty of Asholio culture but also the strength and resilience of its people.
“As we reflect on the value of unity, we see that it is more than just a word—it is the foundation upon which we build everything else,” Dauda added.
Reiterating the role of unity, he remarked, “Unity brings us together in times of joy and sorrow, in moments of triumph and in times of challenge. It is through our culture and our unity that we find our identity and strength.”
The national president of the Moro’a Development Association, Dr Joshua Laah, echoed the call for unity and encouraged the community to prioritize human capital development.
He lauded the resilience of the Asholio people, urging them to remain steadfast in their endeavours.
The chairman of the occasion, Mr Thaddeus Ibrahim, also praised the Asholio community for their diligence and resilience.
Ibrahim described them as a great people, noting their contributions to various fields across the globe.
