According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, on Thursday via X, the six-year contract includes a salary package in the range of €7 to €8 million net per season.

While personal terms have been finalised, Romano reports that Barcelona are now focused on reaching a financial agreement with Athletic Bilbao to complete the transfer.

Romano stated, “Nico Williams and Barça have agreed personal terms on 6-year deal. Agreement sealed on player’s contract until June 2031 with the salary in the region of €7/8m net per season. Barça are currently working on financial terms to get the deal done with Athletic.”

The 22-year-old winger has been one of the standout performers in La Liga and was part of Spain’s squad at the Nations League 2024.
