The Executive Secretary of the Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris, has announced March 17 as the deadline for the payment of the 2025 Hajj fare for intending pilgrims from the state.

Speaking at a press conference yesterday, he stated that the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has assigned Max Air for the airlift of Bauchi pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for the pilgrimage.

Idris emphasised that the payment closure aligns with NAHCON’s directive to ensure smooth Hajj operations.

He also reiterated that medical check-ups, including polio vaccination and other health screenings, are mandatory for all intending pilgrims.

The executive secretary disclosed that over 2,200 intending pilgrims have completed their payments.

He then urged those who have yet to submit their passports with a white background to do so promptly to avoid any delays.
