Bayern Will Not Entertain Liverpool Offer For Olise – Hoeness

Bayern Munich honorary president Uli Hoeness has made it unequivocally clear that the club will not entertain any offer from Liverpool for winger Michael Olise even one as astronomical as €200 million.

With Olise under contract at the Allianz Arena until 2029, Bayern are already preparing to open talks on a further extension, aiming to fend off renewed interest from Premier League clubs.

In a statement on the club’s official website, Hoeness dismissed the speculation outright, arguing that Bayern have no intention of solving Liverpool’s problems following their difficult campaign, regardless of the fee.

“Liverpool have already spent €500 million this year [last summer] and are having a very poor season. We won’t contribute to them playing better next year,” Hoeness said.

He underscored that the club’s priorities lie with their supporters, not with accumulating cash reserves.

“We play this game for our fans. We have 430,000 members, we have millions of fans worldwide, and it doesn’t help them much if we have €200 million in the bank but play worse football every Saturday because of it,” the Bayern chief added.
