Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner, Josephina ‘Phyna’ Otabor, has sparked fresh conversations regarding cosmetic surgery after sharing a graphic look into her recovery from a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) procedure.
In a video shared with her followers on Friday, the reality TV star documented the third day of her post-operative journey, admitting that the physical toll has been significant.
Phyna revealed she woke up attached to surgical drips and drains, describing the sensation as “extremely painful.”
“This recovery is not for the weak. I woke up with blood and drips, but check out that snatched waist,” she stated while showing off her new silhouette.
Despite the admitted discomfort, the entertainer expressed satisfaction with the results and urged others to “trust the process.”
The revelation comes at a time of heightened scrutiny toward cosmetic procedures in Nigeria. Only recently, the industry was rocked by the death of socialite Elena Jessica, who reportedly succumbed to complications and a severe infection following a similar procedure.
