Paris Saint-Germain forward Ousmane Dembele has now joined the likes of Ronaldinho, Zinedine Zidane, and Lionel Messi as a triple crown winner (World Cup, Champions League, and Ballon d’Or).

Dembele achieved this feat after winning the 2025 Ballon d’Or award, surpassing Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal, who came second at the prestigious award ceremony in Paris on Monday.

The former Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona star also won the Champions League with PSG last year and the 2018 World Cup with the French national team.

Dembele now stands among nine other football icons who have won the World Cup, Champions League, and Ballon d’Or in the history of the sport. Besides Zinedine Zidane, Ronaldinho, Lionel Messi, and Ousmane Dembele, other football legends who have achieved this are Franz Beckenbauer, Gerd Muller, Paolo Rossi, Kaka, Rivaldo, and Bobby Charlton.
