The meeting focused on the need to advance sports development in Nigeria, particularly at the grassroots level, in line with President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s #RenewedHopeAgenda.

“We are committed to harnessing the potential of sports to promote youth development, healthy living, and national unity,” said Senator John Owan Enoh. “Our discussions today centered on strategies to strengthen grassroots sports development and create opportunities for young Nigerians to excel in various sports.”

Bala-Usman reiterated the administration’s support for sports development, stating, “We are dedicated to creating an enabling environment for sports to thrive in Nigeria, and we believe that grassroots development is key to achieving this goal.”

The meeting marks a significant step forward in the implementation of the #RenewedHopeAgenda for sports development in Nigeria.
