Both Premier League side Everton and German Budesliga’s Wolfsburg have expressed interest in signing Super Eagles’ Defender Ryan Alebiosu from Blackburn Rovers in this January transfer window.
Alebiosu has emerged as a key performer for Blackburn Rovers this season, having made 20 appearances and scored one goal since joining the club from KV Kortrijk on a three-year deal last summer.
According to ESPN, Serie A clubs Sassuolo and Genoa are also keeping an eye on the situation. Blackburn is reportedly looking for around £4 million for the former Arsenal player, who is currently representing Nigeria at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Interest in Alebiosu is unlikely to escalate until he returns from AFCON.
