The empowerment items distributed to the beneficiaries include 40 grinding machines, 30 sowing machines, 20 deep freezers, 5 kg bags of rice to 500 people and cash gifts.

The donor , Hajia Mariam Yusuf said the annual event was aimed at putting smiles on the faces of the less privileged members of the society, especially the women.

She urged wealthy Nigerians to always come to the aid of the less privileged in the society.
She appreciated the group managing director of KAM Holdings, Dr Kamoru Yusuf, and the management and staff of Threshold of Hope Foundation for their support of her projects.

“This empowerment programme is my own way of giving back to the society in my own little way and I shall continue to assist the vulnerable people as much as possible,” she said.
