The foundation’s latest endeavour has seen the enrollment of 100 orphans and vulnerable children in primary schools across Gombe, marking the second phase of its educational support programme.
Established in 2019, the foundation has already made a significant impact in the community, with its inaugural phase witnessing the enrollment of 50 pupils.

Our correspondent reports that in addition to its educational initiatives, the foundation has also undertaken various developmental projects aimed at uplifting the community.
During a ceremony to mark the occasion, the commissioner for Education, Dr. Aishatu Umar Maigari, praised the foundation’s tireless efforts, urging them to continue with such gesture which she pointed out, complements government’s efforts in taking children off the streets.

Represented by the Director of Schools Services, Yusuf Mohammad Abubakar, the commissioner highlighted the state government’s commitment to education, citing Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya’s programme aimed at reintegrating out-of-school children into the educational system.

To augment the foundation’s efforts, the general manager of the Gombe State Transport Service, pledged to provide exercise books, pencils, and writing materials to all enrolled pupils, encouraging the public to emulate the foundation’s example by sponsoring at least one or two underprivileged children in their community.
