Group Donates ₦50m To Back Mutfwang’s 2nd Term Bid

The Renewed Hope Advocates has formally endorsed Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang for the 2027 general elections, while also announcing a donation of N50 million towards Governor Mutfwang’s re-election nomination form.

The endorsement was made during the inauguration of the group’s National Executive Council held at Eliel Event Center at the weekend.

The event attracted party faithful, political stakeholders, and delegates from Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones, the event marked a significant political moment and underscored growing support for both leaders ahead of the next electoral cycle.

The national coordinator of the group, Barr. Mrs. Beatrice Dakas, while speaking at the event described the inauguration as a landmark occasion, noting that executive members of the organisation from across the country were present to unanimously endorse President Tinubu and Governor Mutfwang for a second term in office.

Dakas said the gesture was borne out of admiration for Governor Mutfwang’s leadership style and visible developmental strides across Plateau State.

She described Governor Mutfwang as a purposeful and selfless leader whose administration has inspired confidence and renewed hope among citizens.

She further stated that members of the group remain committed to supporting, encouraging, and praying for the Governor to succeed in his mandate.

According to her, the movement would intensify grassroots mobilisation efforts to urban centres, citing the achievements of both leaders as justification for continuity in governance.

The national coordinator also appealed to Nigerians to support President Tinubu’s re-election bid, citing what she described as bold reforms, courageous leadership, and determination to reposition the country.

She acknowledged prevailing economic challenges but maintained that the President has shown resilience and commitment in addressing long-standing national issues while laying the foundation for sustainable growth and stability.

She urged citizens to allow the President to complete his reform agenda in the interest of national progress.

Also speaking, Barr. Gyang Zi (SAN) noted that the endorsements reflected appreciation for the efforts of both the President and Governor, while calling for sustained public support to enable them to consolidate on current achievements.

Governor Mutfwang, represented by his deputy, Ngo Josephine Piyo, described the inauguration as a celebration of renewed dedication to purposeful leadership, good governance, and national development.

He noted that the group represents a movement driven by unity, conviction, and confidence in Nigeria’s future under President Tinubu’s leadership.

Governor Mutfwang commended the President for confronting longstanding national challenges and initiating reforms aimed at economic recovery, institutional strengthening, and stability.

Charging the newly- inaugurated executives, he urged them to embrace service, discipline, loyalty, and sacrifice, stressing that leadership must be measured by responsibility and impact.

He added that the endorsement of President Tinubu and himself reflects the confidence reposed on them and pledged to continue to deliver dividends of democracy to the people for a better future.

The event also featured humanitarian interventions, with cash donations presented to persons living with disabilities and other disadvantaged persons.
