This is even as it said, in the midst of hardship and unemployment, the union has created 1, 500 direct jobs and numerous indirect jobs.

The NAHME Lagos State chairman, Dr Ajibola Emmanuel, made this call during the formal inauguration of the union into the umbrella of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Lagos State Council.

In a chat with LEADERSHIP after the induction, Ajibola noted that, NAHME is concerned with the plights of many people in the midst of the current economic hardship and as such, wants people to identify with herbal medicine as a better alternative.

To him, “With the biting hardship in the country, we are appealing to everyone for understanding and join hands with  the action of this regime to restore the economy back to its feet.

“On the hardship the country is presently facing, I believe it’s a phase and it will pass but before then, I want to encourage us all to keep praying for the country. Let us all work together to support the government of the day to make things better, we hope the Naira that is appreciating will continue to appreciate and price will nosedive.

“We all need to say no to crime because those that are thinking of committing crimes are only making things worse.”

Likewise he stressed that, “our natural herbs are not bad at all and we need to really learn to put them to use by giving it a chance to see the light of day by those in need of medications so that they can realise that they don’t  have to depend their life alone on western drugs whereas the cure they need is at the backyard of their house.”
