The Governing Council of Havilla University has named the Project Director Africa, Peace Ambassador Agency and 100 Most Notable Peace Icons Africa, Amb Kingsley Amafibe, as a member of its governing council.

This was made known when the Chancellor and Founder, Havilla University, Cross River State, Hon A. O. Jones Tangban paid a working visit to his agency’s headquarters in Wuse 2, Abuja.

According to Hon Tangban, Amafibe has proven beyond reasonable doubt that he’s the man for the job and a worthy personality to drive the institution’s need goal.

He urges him to see the job as a challenge to do more for the institution and place it on a pedestal that the world would reckon with.

He said: “You’re aware that on Saturday we inaugurated the chairman and Pro-Chancellor of our university. Havilla University was founded on excellence, integrity, and providence.

“Today we’re in the office of his excellency, Amb Kingsley Amafibe, to recognise his efforts towards our university. I would like to appreciate him because he has surpassed my expectations.

“In less than 2 days, he has proven his capability and capacity by selling the institution to the whole world and with the induction of the first daughter of the president as chairman and Pro-Chancellor of the university.

“All these wouldn’t have been possible without the instrumentality of our lead consultant, Amb Sam Tako and indifatigable Kingsley Amafibe, we don’t take this lightly, and God will bless you.

“I’m a former councillor of my ward, a former member of the National Assembly , an Evangelist and educationist. We we have a nursery and primary school in Abuja, a college of education, and now a private university. This university was founded by God.

“We are here to Induct you into the Hall of Fame of the institution. You will not just be a member of the board, but member One, which means when the chairman of the governing council isn’t on sit, you will be in charge. You have shown capacity, and we wish to let the world know that you’re now an exquisite member of the institution’s governing council,” he added.

While presenting the letter of induction, Amb Kingsley Amafibe thanked the founder and chancellor of Havilla University for finding him worthy to represent the institution and can make decisions that would uplift her.

He promised to continue doing his best and assure the Chancellor that the trust bestowed on him would yield massive fruits.

It could be recalled that Havilla University was licensed by the National University Commission in 2021.
