JUST-IN: Unspecified Persons Abducted As Terrorists Attack Another Kaduna Community

Again, large numbers of terrorists in the early hours of Saturday, in a fresh attack on the Dogon-noma community in the Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State abducted yet to be specified number of persons.

This fresh attack is coming barely three days after one person was killed, and eight women were kidnapped in the Banono Angwaku community which followed the kidnap of 61 persons in the same local government.

The abduction is also coming some days after 287 students were kidnapped from LEA and GSS kuriga of Chikun Local Government Area.

Confirming the attack, a former chairman of the local government, Hon. Cafra Caino, confirmed the fresh attack to LEADERSHIP.

According to him, the terrorists stormed the community around 5.45am on Saturday in large numbers, shooting sporadically before leaving with their captives.

Hon.Caino said, “We are yet to get the number of casualties or those kidnapped because the locals ran for their lives at the time the assailants invaded the community”.

The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP Mansir Hassan when called for reaction did not pick up his calls and did not return the missed calls as at the time of filing this report.

There was no official statement also from the state government.
