Kebbi Govt Assures Private Media Organisations Of Better Collaboration

Kebbi State government has pledged to strengthen collaboration with private media organisations to ensure the effective dissemination of its policies, programmes and achievements.

The state commissioner for Information and Culture, Yakubu Ahmed Birnin Kebbi, spoke when he met with the heads and proprietors of the private media organisations in the state.

While commending their support in information dissemination of Kaura-led administration’s activities in the last three years, the commissioner said the organisations had contributed towards the promotion of Kebbi State to the outside world.

He, however, urged them to remain vigilant against misinformation and the dissemination of unverified reports capable of misleading the public.
