Director-general of the Dr Agbu Kefas’ Moving Forward Agenda 2027, Hon. Danladi Baido Tijos, has announced the appointment of three deputy directors-general for the Taraba senatorial zones, alongside a spokesperson and secretary for the council.

With the appointment, the governor’s re-election campaign structure is taking shape for the 2027 governorship election.

The appointments, which take immediate effect, are expected to strengthen the campaign council’s grassroots mobilisation and coordination across the state.

Those appointed as deputy directors-general are Dr Bulus Maiyaki for Taraba South, Hon. Kabiru Jalo for Taraba Central and Prof. Albasu Kunini for Taraba North Senatorial Zone.

The director-general also appointed Hon. Emmanuel Bello as spokesperson of the Agbu Kefas Re-Election Campaign Council 2027, while Hon. Josiah Sabo Kente was named secretary of the council.

In a statement issued to journalists in Jalingo, Hon. Tijos said the appointments were part of the efforts to reinforce the campaign organisation with experienced political figures capable of driving mobilisation and coordinating activities across the state.

He noted that, the appointees were selected based on their leadership credentials, experience in political mobilisation and commitment to the ideals of the Moving Forward Agenda.

The Director-General urged the newly appointed officials to justify the confidence reposed in them by discharging their responsibilities with discipline, dedication and teamwork.

He further charged them to work closely with party leaders, stakeholders, support groups and volunteers to sustain and expand support for Governor Kefas as preparations for the 2027 governorship election gather momentum.
